Technical Instructions

AC Plug / 3 Heat Setting Controller
The AC plug has a 3 Heat Settling Controller for warming boots. The settings adjust the wattage and time to generate 140F/60C of heat. The AC plug is connected by an 80" / 203cm cord and is for use indoors only.

Controller Setting Guidance:

H (160W) - For use between 1-3 hours.
M (120W) - For use between 3-6 hours.
L (80W) - For use between 6-8 hours.

Note: The guidance above is subject to surrounding room temperatures and the temperature at which boots are before heating. Do not heat for longer than 8 hours.
We do not recommend leaving this on overnight as it is not designed to be used for that long consecutively.

DC Plug
The DC plug is for keeping boots warm during automobile transit. Upon arrival at the ski destination, turn-off the automobile and unplug the bag. The 12V DC plug is 90W (Draws 7.5 Amps) and connected by a 65" / 165cm cord.

Note: Use of the DC plug while the motor is not running may deplete the automobile's battery. To reduce the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning do not use the DC plug while the automobile is stationary.

KULKEA will repair or replace at its discretion products that it finds are defective within the scope of this warranty. This warranty excludes normal wear and tear or damage related to misuse, abuse or neglect. Heated boot bag

This bag carries just the items I need for a day of skiing. Best part is ability to plug bag into a DC outlet in car so boots are heated when I arrive at resort to ski. That is critical since I have titanium screws in my great toe so boot needs to be flexible to open up for my foot. This bag is just what I needed.

Thermal trekker is the best gear bag I’ve ever owned

As a point of reference, I’ve been in and around the Ski Industry for about 50 years. As a Retailer, Factory Rep, Athlete, Bio Mechanic, and Custom Boot Fitter. I ski in a race boot, and without a warm shell they are nearly impossible to get on. In the past I’d have to pre warm the shell via boot oven or heat gun in order to easily boot up. But ! Since getting this amazing bag, I spend a lot less time dealing with such things. I simply Pre Pack and turn my bag on well before heading to the mountain, walk in sit down and boot up in minutes, warm soft shells are “butter” to slide on. Simply Said, My Thermal trekker is the best gear bag I’ve ever owned. It’s stable and reliable with regards to heat which is critical as I Ski in a Fischer Vacuum Boot. I also have nerve damage from frost bite in my toes and fingers, and being able to start warm in both extremities is a game changer here in Idaho where we have morning temps near zero often. I can carry everything I need for the day in one bag, boot up quickly and warm. Woo Hoo !

This is the best boot bag Ive ever had, it holds everything and keeps the boots toasty. I can carry all of my gear to the mountain in one bag comfortably. Being able to plug it in the wall and a car lighter means I arrive at the mountain with warm boots that are mush easier to put on. Just an Awesome Bag!

Never thought Id use a heated bag, but after gearing up last weekend, I will never go back to a non-heated bag! My boots were warm and easier to put on and my jacket gloves and stuff were warm too. Great bag and construction looks super sturdy.

Best heated bag...others not even close!

Got my heated bag as a gift and felt compelled to share my thoughts. Ive used other heated bags in the past and my biggest grip was that once I put my boots in there wasn't much room for anything else other than to jam in my other gear and, my clothes got wet and dirty from my boots. Enter the Thermal Trekker: Individual boot pockets on the side, heats up quick, has pockets for all my other gear and stores my helmet on the outside! All fits in and comfy backpack set up to make it easy to carry. Clearly a better design and product.
