Release v11: Skiing France's Mer de Glace

Published by K J

The longest lift-served run in the world is the Mer de Glace accessed by the Aiguille Du Midi Telepherique cable car in Chamonix, France. The area is accessed by the Arete which is a dicey walk down a knife edged spine but once you are in, the terrain is pretty manageable sans for the glacier and crevasses on the final descent. The scenery alone makes it one for the bucket list.
