The scene in the village is electric. Last minute preparations for the season are happening everywhere. The tram is going through its opening exercises. Hostel goers are lobbying their attack positions over coffee and base wax. The big chatter is to line up for the tram and wait on avalanche control, or head for the lifts while the sea of dedicated hold for the big box.
